Cupcake Karma will have its grand opening event from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 5 at the Lighthouse Deli, 28 S. Washington St., downtown Sonora.
Free cupcake samples will be given to the first 100 customers, cupcake drawings will be held every hour, and a kids’ cupcake walk will take place every half hour.
The featured cupcakes at the event will be peanut butter cup, salted caramel, white chocolate raspberry, and zen.
Owner Julia Clark established the business in 2007 and has been selling her specialty cupcakes at farmer’s markets and local events for the past four years. Her homemade cupcakes have an artistic look and are made from gourmet ingredients.
Cupcakes can be purchased at the Lighthouse Deli for $3 each, $16 for six, or $32 for a dozen.
