Revolving Loan Fund Committee
Tuolumne County is seeking applications for an open position on the County Small Business Revolving Loan Fund Committee.
Those interested should call the board of supervisors clerk for an application at 533-5521.
Tuolumne County has received a $300,000 grant from the State Community Block Grant Program to issue additional small business loans.
Small business can apply for $25,000 to $250,000 in loans, but must create one full-time job for each $35,000 borrowed and provide collateral for the loan.
Loans are most often used for working capital and equipment, but can also be used for acquisition or construction. Interest rates are typically below market and terms are for five to seven years.
The county’s small business revolving load fund has already issued $4.9 million in loans to 50 businesses.
For more information or to apply for a small business loan, call Bill McEntire at 533-0970 or Ken Wells at 533-5012.
