Jarred Ford, a youth bowler (Black Oak Adult/Jr) was finding the strike zone with ease.
He bowled a 266/631, which is his highest game ever and his first 600 series. He bowled 100 pins over his average in the game and 133 pins over in his series.
Following close on his heels were Jarrett Walker (Black Oak Adult/Jr)
with a 563 and Allie Hendricks (Black Oak Adult/Jr) with a 334, which
were 146 and 103 pins, respectively over their averages.
Reaching the 700 mark for this report are Derek Gregory and Steve
Feola (both in Jokers Wild) 253/730 and 258/701. High for the women
this week are Vikki Anderson (Mixed Angels) 246/594 and Mary Feola
(High Rollers) 231/607,
In the “I can’t believe I beat myself” is Kevin Moyle (Jokers Wild,
this report) 574 (103 pins over) and Brian Basacker (Monday Nevada)
267/650 (79 pins over for the game). Two other notable achievements
this week include: John Rago (Young at Heart) bowling all three games
without any open frames which is also known as a “Clean Game,” and Tom
Canez (Umchu Full House) converting the “Greek Church” (which is a
split with two pins on one side of the lane and three pins on the other
side, such as the 4-6-7-9-10).
