Sheriff’s reports

MONDAY
    8:13 a.m., Sonora area — A person said two people came and dumped trash without paying for the service on the 10500 block of Mt. Brow Road.
    8:37 a.m., Jamestown — A woman reported several thousand dollars stolen from her residence on the 18700 block of Highway 108.
    8:50 a.m., Jamestown — A woman reported her vehicle vandalized on the 10300 block of Preston Lane.
    8:54 a.m., Apple Valley — A man on the 21400 block of Apple Hill Drive reported that someone broke into his house, broke windows and stole various items including a hunting knife and a pump action shotgun.
    9:53 a.m., Jamestown — A woman reported her car scratched on the 10300 block of Willow Street.
    2:40 p.m., East Sonora — A Publics Works employee found a damaged vending machine missing soda and money on the side of the road at Bergel Road and Phoenix Lake Road.
    3:07 p.m., Sonora Meadows — A man reported an attempted burglary at his home on the 16600 block of Sallander Drive.
    3:36 p.m., Jamestown — A man reported a shed broken into, dirt bike stolen and rain gutter destroyed on the 18400 block of Jamestown Road.
    4:35 p.m., Pinecrest — A woman reported a snowboard stolen from the first block of Dodge Ridge Road.
    4:44 p.m., Twain Harte — A man on the 21200 block of Blue Oak Gulch Road reported that someone tried to use his Social Security number to open a bank account.

Sonora police reports

MONDAY
    3:49 p.m., found — A bag of syringes and plastic tubing was found in the roadway at Forest Road.
    6:22 p.m., dogs — Two dogs broke out the window of a camper while waiting on South Washington Street. The reporting party was concerned they'd make a bid for freedom.

Sheriff’s reports

MONDAY
    8:57 a.m., San Andreas — Tires were reported stolen on the 300 block of High School Street.
    9:03 a.m., Rail Road Flat — A home was broken into on the 2600 block of Prussian Hill Road.
    10:07 a.m., San Andreas — Vehicles were vandalized on the 100 block of Bellview Street.
    11:14 a.m., Wilseyville — A house was broken-into and items stolen on the 3700 block of Rail Road Flat Road.
    3:01 p.m., Dorrington — Wood was stolen on the 3300 block of Murrietas Roost.
    7:08 p.m., Valley Springs — A search and rescue effort saved a person and their dog “stranded on an island in a local lake due to a lost flotation tube.”

FRIDAY
    9:30 a.m., San Andreas — Johnny Ray Miller, 19, of Rail Road Flat, booked on suspicion of first degree burglary, after an arrest at Superior Court.

SUNDAY
    1:30 a.m., Valley Springs — Antonio Valdemiro Batista, 48, of the 900 block of St. Andrews Drive, arrested on St. Andrews at Highway 26.
    11:40 p.m., Angels Camp — Jeffrey Warren Olson, 50, of the 300 block of South Main Street, arrested at his home. Also booked on suspicion of hit and run property damage.

MONDAY
    8:40 a.m., San Andreas — Matthew Stephen Leipelt, 26, of Stockton, arrested in the jail lobby on a county warrant.
