TUOLUMNE COUNTY Sheriff’s reports TUESDAY 10:35 a.m., Sonora area — A man called the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office saying that his wife had texted him 911. They contacted the woman around Parrotts Ferry Road and Highway 49 who responded that there was no emergency. She just wanted her husband to call her immediately. 11:18 a.m., Columbia — A man at Pioneer Park reported that his car was damaged by the wind blowing a gate open and hitting his car. The Sheriff’s Office informed him there was no vandalism by nature. 1:09 p.m., Columbia — A person reported that a person placed a dead deer against a classroom door on the 22500 block of Parrotts Ferry Road. 2:27 p.m., Twain Harte — A man reported approximately $200 worth of recyclables missing from a business at the 23000 block of Joaquin Gully Road. 8:49 p.m., Tuolumne — A woman reported an assault at the 19400 block of Tuolumne Road. Felony bookings TUESDAY 1:44 p.m., Sonora — Jennifer Jean Rydall, 25, of an unknown address in Sonora, booked on suspicion of accessory to a crime and committing a felony while released on bail. 4:03 p.m., Sonora — Andrew Leonard Buzinskis, 21, of the 400 block of Greenley Road, booked on suspicion of possession of a dangerous weapon after his arrest at the 400 block of Southgate Drive. Sonora Police reports TUESDAY 10:20 a.m., oddly enough — A person reported that the word “help” was spelled out in berries next to a camp fire 20 feet from the top of the Dragoon Gulch Trail. 3:40 p.m., bad check — A business on the 100 block of South Washington reported a bad check. 4:57 p.m., theft — A woman reported her jewelry stolen while on the 1000 block of Greenley Road. 6:45 p.m., vandalism — Vandalism to a home was reported on Linoberg Street. CALAVERAS COUNTY Sheriff’s reports TUESDAY 6:42 a.m., Camp Connell — Someone made “annoying” and “lewd” phone calls to a residence on the first block of Summit Level Drive. 10:45 a.m., Copperopolis — Property was found at the Copper substation. 4:27 p.m., San Andreas — A fence and cables were cut on Sierra Vista Lookout Road. |
