CALAVERAS COUNTY Arrests Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs: TUESDAY 11:25 a.m., San Andreas — Anthony Michael Sheldon, 20, of Antioch, arrested on a Calaveras County warrant in the jail lobby. TUOLUMNE COUNTY Sheriff’s reports TUESDAY 6:15 a.m., Tuolumne — A man reported a found large, male yellow lab at the 19000 block of Hillhaven Road. The dog was determined to be the lost “Ferris Bueller,” who “apparently took a few extra days off.” 10:19 a.m., Sonora area — A woman from the 20900 block of Shaws Flat Road reported $1,080 in fraudulent charges on her ATM card. 10:55 a.m., Columbia — A woman on the 22300 block of Bennett Road reported $30.64 in fraudulent charges on her stolen ATM card. 1:22 p.m., Long Barn — A woman reported a cabin broken into and a mini-bike taken from the 26100 block of Snow Avenue. 10:40 p.m., Sonora — A woman reported a mountain bike stolen from the 18800 block of Dusty Trail. Felony bookings TUESDAY 2:28 a.m., East Sonora area — Joanne Lesley Moss, 37, of Manteca, booked on suspicion of drug possession on Hess Avenue at Tuolumne Road. Sonora Police reports TUESDAY 2:45 p.m., fraud — A man on Bonanza Road reported that he received a notice saying that he’d won money. He sent the agency a check for the taxes on the money he’d “won,” and hasn’t received anything in return. |
