SATURDAY 8:15 a.m., theft — A woman on Summit Avenue reported sending lots of money to a company for a credit card and has not heard back. Sheriff’s reports FRIDAY 10:47 a.m., Sonora area — A person reported people in an old white truck dumping a couch on Lime Kiln Road near Lime Rock Road. 10:49 a.m., Twain Harte area — A man reported items stolen on the 21600 block of Crystal Lake Drive. 2:45 p.m., Big Oak Flat — A woman reported a wallet stolen out of her purse on School Street near Highway 120. 10:38 p.m., Twain Harte — A person reported that people were throwing eggs at a house on the 23000 block of Tuolumne Drive. 11:01 p.m., East Sonora — A woman reported her purse stolen out of her unlocked car on the 13700 block of Mono Way. Walmart told the caller they are not offering free gift cards. 2:06 p.m., Arnold — A suspicious person was offering free carpet cleaning on Pine Drive. SATURDAY 8 a.m., Copperopolis — Illegal dumping was reported at Little John Road and Copper Cover Drive. 10:08 a.m., Murphys — Tools were stolen on Main Street. 11:45 a.m., Valley Springs — A purse was reported stolen on Highway 12. 6:49 p.m., Mountain Ranch — A prior break-in was reported at a residence on Michel Road.
