Jean Troedson Aug. 23, 1934 — Dec. 2, 2009 Jean Troedson died Dec. 2 at her home in Twain Harte. She was 75. Mrs. Troedson was born in Empire and lived there her entire life until retiring to Twain Harte five years ago. She worked for the Empire School district for 25 years. Her main interests in life were children and her family. Mrs. Troedson was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Gary Troedson, of Twain Harte; three sons, Bruce Troedson and his wife, Rachel, of Calpine, Keith Troedson, of Denair, and Greg Troedson, of Denair; one grandson, Wyatt Troedson, of Turlock; and one sister, Darlene Fujita, of Twain Harte. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 16, at Calvary Lutheran Church in Sugar Pine. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvary Lutheran Church or to a favorite charity. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home is handling arrangements. KayCee Leann (Young) Henry Oct. 13, 1977 — Nov. 24, 2009 KayCee Leann (Young) Henry, of Soulsbyville, died Nov. 24 of complications from injuries suffered in a car accident on Highway 108 near Soulsbyville on Nov. 22. She was 33. She was a lead assistant at the Forest Road Health and Wellness Center in Sonora for three years. She is survived by one son, Kain Harleman, of Ripon; three daughters, Brianne Henry, of Soulsbyville, Elizabeth Henry, of Soulsbyville, and Addy Henry, of Soulsbyville; her parents, Mark and Deborah Tennant, of Manteca; and two sisters, Krystel Hardin, of San Andreas, and Katie Crooks, of Redwood Valley. A service for her will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the New Life Center, 19270 Hillsdale Drive, Sonora. Neptune Society of Central California handled the initial arrangements. Doris Elaine Butler March 12, 1929 — Nov. 28, 2009 Doris Elaine Butler died Nov. 28 at her Sonora home. She was 80. Mrs. Butler was born in North Dakota. She lived in Sonora for 52 years. She was a housewife whose interests included quilting and bluegrass music. Mrs. Butler was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd, on Oct. 20. She is survived by her children, Roger Butler, of Sonora, Marcus Butler, of Sonora, and Karen Tynan, of Modesto; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. No services are planned. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home handled arrangements. |
