Sheriff’s reports

MONDAY
    7:55 a.m., Valley Springs — More than $400 in property was stolen from a home on the 2300 block of Heney Lane.
    8:33 a.m., San Andreas — A prior burglary was reported at a business on the 700 block of Mountain Ranch Road.

TUESDAY
    10:42 p.m., San Andreas — Dispatchers received a “report of subjects digging for mushrooms in cow patties.”

Felony bookings

MONDAY
    3:32 a.m., San Andreas — Ashley Barry Dean, 30, of the 100 block of Main Street, West Point, booked on suspicion of obstructing or resisting a public officer, battery against an emergency worker and possessing a hypodermic needle or syringe, after an arrest on Highway 49 near High School Street.

TUESDAY
    11:15 a.m., Chowchilla — Tina Marie Bertrand, 21, of the 1500 block of Leonard Road, San Andreas, booked on suspicion of possessing a narcotic controlled substance and controlled substance paraphernalia, after an arrest at the Valley State Prison for Women.
    3:10 p.m., San Andreas — Quinn Morgan Shields, of the 1000 block of Simpson Road, Rail Road Flat, booked on suspicion of possessing marijuana or hashish for sale, selling marijuana or hashish, possessing a narcotic controlled substance and possessing for sale a narcotic controlled substance, after an arrest at Calaveras County Superior Court.

TUESDAY
    1:39 a.m., Tuolumne — A woman reported a leather jacket stolen at the 19400 block of Tuolumne Road.
    9:25 a.m., Sonora — A man reported fuel siphoned out of a vehicle and batteries stolen on the 19600 block of Greenley Road.
    12:07 p.m., Jamestown area — A man on the 13700 block of Algerine-Wards Ferry Road reported that two individuals used his food stamp card, his credit card and picked up his prescriptions without permission.
    12:45 p.m., Groveland — A man on the 20700 block of Big Foot Circle reported a call from a suspicious person who claimed that the reporting party won $7,000. The caller said he would deliver the winnings upon receipt of a $99 check.
    1:18 p.m., Long Barn — A woman reported her vacation home on the 26100 block of Snow Avenue burglarized.
    2:02 p.m., Soulsbyville — A woman reported jewelry, a television and a DVD player stolen from her home on the 19100 block of Soulsbyville Road.
    2:07 p.m., Columbia area — A woman reported her dog stolen on the 22700 block of Quail Mine Road.
    3:27 p.m., East Sonora — A woman reported a 20 to 30 foot cylindrical tank dumped on the 13700 block of Mono Way.
    4:19 p.m., Jamestown — A man reported a window broken and food items taken from a mini mart on the 7500 block of Highway 120.
    9:40 p.m., Twain Harte area — A woman said someone egged her house on the 22600 block of Confidence Road.

Sonora police reports

MONDAY
    7:30 a.m., vandalism — Vehicles were reported vandalized on the 200 block of South Shepherd Street.
    9:54 a.m., theft — An employee reported her employer was taking money from her paychecks and promising to pay it back later on the 1000 block of Mono Way.
    2:21 p.m., suspicious circumstances — A man reported two people rolling tires and rims down a hill and that one tire had struck his residence, causing damage to a gutter on Lower Sunset Drive.
    6:51 p.m., vandalism — A man reported that someone spit on his windshield on the 400 block of South Washington Street.

TUESDAY
    8:12 a.m., vandalism — A woman reported that someone wrote on her car with chewing gum and shoved gum into her keyholes on South Barretta Street.
    12:30 p.m., theft — A woman reported her prescription medications stolen at the 900 block of Sanguinetti Road.
    1:32 p.m., marijuana — Officers confiscated a small amount of marijuana from a group of people at Woods Creek Rotary Park.
