Robber strikes in Columbia |
The Tuolumne County Sheriff's Office is looking for a
man in connection with an armed robbery at the R&L Mini Mart in
Columbia today. According to Sgt. A.J. Ford, spokesman for the Tuolumne County Sheriff's Office, a man walked into the mini mart on Parrotts Ferry Road around 11:30 a.m. today, told the clerk he was armed with a gun and demanded money. The clerk gave him all the money that was at hand, and the man fled on foot toward the Columbia area, Ford said. There were no injuries, he said. The suspect is a white male adult with a mustache. He was wearing dark clothing and a dark baseball cap at the time of the robbery. Ford said the suspect is considered armed and dangerous advised people not to attempt to contact him.
