TUOLUMNE COUNTY Sheriff’s reports WEDNESDAY 8:37 a.m., Don Pedro area — A man on the 14500 block of Las Moras Street reported items missing from the front of his business. 9:26 a.m., Mi Wuk Village area — A woman reported theft of wood on the 23800 block of Pine Lake Drive. 12:04 p.m., Jamestown area — A man reported a hand rail broken and a bike found at Jamestown and Wigwam roads. 1:53 p.m., Jamestown — A woman reported a dog stolen at the 18200 block of Ninth Avenue. 2:09 p.m., Jamestown — A man reported an assault on the 18300 block of Main Street. 6:24 p.m., Jamestown — A woman reported a burglary on the 18200 block of Maple Alley. 10:39 p.m., Soulsbyville area — An officer stopped a driver on Highway 108 near Via Este on a suspected DUI, only to discover the driver was elderly. The driver was let off with a warning. Felony bookings WEDNESDAY 7:30 p.m., Sonora — Zachary William Van Zant, 31, of an unknown address on Serrano Road, booked on suspicion of paying for a service with a bad check and a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest on an unknown address of Serrano Road. 11:56 p.m., Jamestown — Stacey Boitano, 23, of the 10200 block of Preston Lane, was booked on suspicion of assault at the 10300 block of Preston Lane. Arrests Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs: WEDNESDAY 10:45 p.m., Tuolumne City area — Lance Desmond Seagraves, 21, of the 21300 block of Crestview Drive, arrested at the 19400 block of Tuolumne Road. Sonora Police reports WEDNESDAY 2:36 p.m., marijuana — Three minors were smoking marijuana on the 400 block of North Washington Street. 5:58 p.m., pizza — A person tried to buy $2,000 worth of pizza from an establishment on Stockton Road. The police advised that the business not accept the order until the credit card could be verified. CALAVERAS COUNTY Sheriff’s reports TUESDAY 7:52 a.m., Murphys — Something was stolen on the first block of Lawrence Street. 12:30 a.m., Arnold — A theft occurred at a business on the 2100 block of Highway 4. WEDNESDAY 6:53 a.m., Valley Springs — A prior vehicle break-in was reported on the 1000 block of Mockingbird Hill. 8:22 a.m., Valley Springs — A prior theft of a dirt bike was reported on 1100 Mockingbird Hill. 5:12 p.m., West Point — An unknown “male in a small silver car watched children walk home from (a) bus stop and then drove away” on the 23300 block of Highway 26. Felony bookings WEDNESDAY 1:02 p.m., Angels Camp — Renee Marette Crain, 21, of the 300 block of Duchess Drive, Copperopolis, booked on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, a narcotic controlled substance, controlled substance paraphernalia, and a switchblade, after an arrest on the 2100 block of Highway 49. 5:55 p.m., San Andreas — Gregory Scott Mayhall, 46, of the 500 block of Lewis Avenue, booked on suspicion of manufacturing a controlled substance and possessing 28.5 grams of marijuana or less with a prior conviction, after an arrest at his home. |
