TUOLUMNE COUNTY Sheriff’s reports TUESDAY 6:51 a.m., East Sonora — A woman reported a stolen television at the 14600 block of Mono Way. 7:58 a.m., Stent — A man said a rental property on the 16400 block of Stent Cutoff Road was trashed by former tenants after their eviction. 8:26 a.m., Tuolumne — A man found numerous syringes and other paraphernalia on the 18300 block of Tuolumne Road. 12:55 p.m., Tuolumne — A woman reported the theft of recyclables from the 18700 block of Pine Street. 9:03 p.m., Sonora — A fraudulent check was reported on the 13700 block of Mono Way. 10:15 p.m., Sonora — A woman reported a man who had been drinking and taking pills. The man had been requesting to be arrested and waited for police on the 20300 block of Sunshine Road. Sonora police reports TUESDAY 8:06 a.m., vandalism — A car drove into a staircase causing major damage on the 1100 block of Mono Way. 8:58 a.m., attempted break-in — A woman reported an unknown person attempting to break into her home on South Shepherd Street by kicking in a window. 2:45 p.m., injury — A man reported that he was struck by the side mirror of a vehicle on the 14200 block of Mono Way. CALAVERAS COUNTY Sheriff’s reports TUESDAY 6:30 p.m., Copperopolis — Criminal threats were reported on the 200 block of Salmon Road. Felony bookings TUESDAY 12:15 p.m., San Andreas — Darrell Sheldon Allen, 52, of the 3100 block of Hagen Road, Valley Springs, booked on suspicion of grand theft and receiving known stolen property, after an arrest in the lobby of the Calaveras County Jail. Arrests Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs: WEDNESDAY 2 a.m., Arnold — Randy Dale Terry, 31, of Modesto, arrested on Highway 4 near Blagen Road. Also booked on suspicion of use of a controlled substance. |
