The dinner was presented by the Tuolumne County Superintendent of Schools Office and Delta-Sierra Science Project with the goal of promoting interest in science careers among elementary-grade students.
Scientists were on hand to answer questions and give demonstrations
pertaining to their fields, ranging from showing off fossilized
dinosaur droppings to explaining how the human heart works.
