Sheriff’s reports

FRIDAY
    9:48 a.m., Jamestown area — A woman on the 19000 block of Jamestown Road said she has been getting citations from Paramount Police Department in Los Angeles County for a license plate registered to her with the wrong vehicle and expiration date. An officer checked both plates, and they were both registered to the woman’s Mercedes, although the citation was for a blue Chevrolet.
    11:20 a.m., Crystal Falls — A boy on the 21500 block of American River Drive was arrested on suspicion of vandalism and threatening to do great bodily harm after trying to kick in a door and threatening his mother.
    1:27 p.m., Twain Harte — A caller on the 18700 block of Tiffeni Drive said people were trespassing by living in a motor home in front of a business.
    9:25 p.m., Soulsbyville — The front door window of Calvary Chapel on the 19800 block of Soulsbyville Road was broken with a large rock. Someone entered the building and stole money from the offering box, breaking into the locked box with some type of prying tool.
  
SATURDAY
    2:02 a.m., Twain Harte — Two men were fighting on the 23000 block of Joaquin Gully Road. Neither wanted to pursue legal action.
    2:11 a.m., Twain Harte — A man a deputy believed was about to get in his car and drive out of a parking lot on the 23000 block of Joaquin Gully Road was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication instead.
    8:26 a.m., Tuolumne — A woman on the 18800 block of Madrone Street reported a 52-year-old man missing since Wednesday and said all of his personal belongings, including his wallet, were at her house.

SUNDAY
    2:21 a.m., Sonora — Woman told officers in the jail lobby that she was going to hurt herself in order to get their attention so they would give her a ride home. Police had towed her car earlier.
    8:24 a.m., Columbia area — A man reported a pistol stolen on the 12400 block of Big Hill Road.
    10:06 a.m., Columbia area — A woman on the 22900 block of Dolly Lane reported her phone wires had been burned, leaving her phone inoperable. She said there had been rattling at her doors between 10:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. Saturday, after which the phone had stopped working.
    12:56 p.m., Jamestown — A woman on the 17900 block of Harvard Mine Road reported her prescription pain medications stolen.
    3:47 p.m., Columbia area — A woman on the 22900 block of Dolly Lane reported her window broken and glue put in her lock.
    5:38 p.m., Sonora — A man was stabbed in both legs at the homeless camp off of Stockton Road.
    8:17 p.m., Big Oak Flat area — A woman on the 17600 block reported the theft of a firearm.
    8:23 p.m., Columbia — A woman reported two men who got out of their car and started hitting her car while her son was driving on the 10900 block of Mount Brow Road.
    11:13 p.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A man reported the theft of a GPS device and keys at the 24500 block of Highway 108.

    5:59 p.m., Columbia area — Carl Otis Cole III, 47, of the 13700 block of Big Hill Road, booked on suspicion of damage to a telephone or power line, bringing contraband into the jail, a misdemeanor count of  possession of paraphernalia and a misdemeanor count of battery at the 13700 block of Big Hill Road.
    5:59 p.m., Columbia area — William Leo Wilson, 55, of 13700 block of Big Hill Road, booked on suspicion of being an accessory to a crime at the 13700 block of Big Hill Road.

FRIDAY
    2:04 a.m., Sonora — Leah Jane Ochs, 27, of the 10700 block of Wigwam Road in Jamestown, arrested at the intersection of Stockton Street and Ponderosa Lane.
 
SATURDAY
    12:32 a.m., Columbia — Ester Cyphers Delong, 53, of the 20200 block of Canyon View Drive, arrested at Sawmill Flat Road west of Columbia College.

Sonora police reports

FRIDAY
    9:04 a.m., vandalism — Someone from a preschool on South Shepherd Street called to say someone had chopped down trees and tampered with the propane tank. It turned out a tree company had been contracted to cut down trees around the tank.
     6:56 p.m., theft — A woman said she forgot her purse at work on Fairview Lane, and when she returned to retrieve it, she discovered a large amount of cash missing.
    7:46 p.m., theft — A woman said she left her wallet on the counter at a gas station on Mono Way, and it was gone when she returned.

 SATURDAY
    6:56 p.m., theft — A woman reported a large amount of cash missing from her purse at an unknown address on Fairview Lane.
    7:46 p.m., theft —  A woman reported her wallet missing at the 800 block of Mono Way.

SUNDAY
    4:19 p.m., theft — A woman reported her wallet missing at the 1100 block of Sanguinetti Road.
    5:49 p.m., suspicious incident — A young person stopped by an unknown address on Oakside Drive to request a cup of sugar. The reporting party did not recognize the person as a neighbor.
    6:13 p.m., public intoxication — Officers received a report of an intoxicated woman screaming in the road on Linoberg Street.
    8:24 p.m., weapon — A weapon was confiscated on the 400 block of North Washington Street.

FRIDAY
    11:52 p.m., San Andreas — Theft of medications from a mailbox was reported on Hawver Road.
    1:56 p.m., Rail Road Flat — A burn pile with painted materials in it was creating dense smoke that was drifting into the Rail Road Flat Elementary School yard, a caller said.
    9:27 p.m., Valley Springs — An assault was reported at a bar off Highway 26.
  11:05 p.m., San Andreas — An assault was reported at Market Street and Gold Court.

SATURDAY
    12:21 a.m., Murphys — A physical fight was reported on Big Trees Road.
    1:35 a.m., San Andreas — A person was reported walking in the middle of St. Charles Street yelling at passing vehicles.
    11:50 a.m., San Andreas — A theft occurred on Mountain Ranch Road.
    11:52 a.m., Copperopolis — Vandalism occurred on Poker Flat Road.
    12:04 p.m., San Andreas — Vandalism occurred on Marshall Avenue.
    12:37 p.m., Mountain Ranch — Someone was arrested for violating a domestic court order on Rail Road Flat Road.
    1:40 p.m., Murphys — Someone was arrested on an out of county warrant on the 100 block of Big Trees Road.
    2:28 p.m., San Andreas — Vandalism was reported on Marshall Avenue.

SUNDAY
    2:08 a.m., Murphys — Someone was arrested for public drunkenness on Bret Harte Drive and Cottage Circle Drive.
    2:25 a.m., Murphys — Someone was arrested on an out of county warrant at Main Street and Church Street.
    8:19 a.m., Valley Springs — A mailbox was stolen on the 7300 block of Westhill Road.
    8:25 a.m., San Andreas — A prior break-in at a business was reported on the 700 block of Mountain Ranch Road.
    8:52 a.m., Valley Springs — A mailbox was vandalized on the 7700 block of Yost Drive.
    7 p.m., Valley Springs — A vehicle was vandalized in a parking lot on the first block of South Highway 26.

    3:46 p.m., San Andreas — Karl Joseph Boyd, 37, of the 1400 block of Fairview Drive, Angels Camp, booked on suspicion of stealing more than $400 in money, labor or property, after an arrest at the Calaveras County Superior Court.

SATURDAY
    2:10 a.m., Murphys — Steven Dale Mayfield, 27, of the 2600 block of Valley View Drive, Arnold, booked on suspicion of disorderly conduct due to alcohol, aiding in the escape of someone in custody and resisting or obstructing a police officer or emergency worker, after an arrest at a business on the first block of Big Trees Road.
    1:50 p.m., Valley Springs — Jonathan Eugene Sullivan, 25, of the 5600 block of West Highway 12, booked on being a prohibited person in ownership of ammunition, suspicion of possessing a dangerous weapon and driving while license is suspended for driving under the influence, after an arrest at Highway 12 and Highway 26.

    11:30 a.m., Angels Camp — Mickey Dee Hansen, 71, of the 200 block of Tom Bell Road, Murphys, arrested on the 900 block of South Main Street.

SUNDAY
    1 a.m., Murphys — Laney Ortega, 62, of the 200 block of Jones Street, arrested on Church Street at Algiers Street.
    2:35 a.m., Murphys — Vent Waterburry Fiscus, 52, of the 4800 block of Jaquima Drive, Angels Camp, arrested at the intersection of Church Street and Surrey Lane.

MONDAY
    2:44 a.m., Murphys — John Thomas Guggenmos, 39, of the 5500 block of Indian Hills, Hathaway Pines, arrested on Highway 4 at Tom Bell Drive.
