THURSDAY
    12:34 p.m., San Andreas — Vandalism occurred on the 1900 block of Andreas Vista Drive.

WEDNESDAY
    5:12 p.m., San Andreas — Marlene Elizabeth Baker, 44, of the 8900 block of Center Street, Mokelumne Hill, booked on suspicion of helping someone on parole or in custody attempt to escape, after an arrest on the 100 block of Pope Street.
    5:15 p.m., San Andreas — Morgan Kate Rowley, 24, of the 8900 block of Center Street, Mokelumne Hill, booked on suspicion of helping someone on parole or in custody attempt to escape, after an arrest on the 100 block of Pope Street.

THURSDAY
    11:30 a.m., Angels Camp — Louise Marie Walsh, 40, of the 600 block of Amador Avenue, booked on suspicion of forgery, after an arrest on the 200 block of Monte Verde Street.
    11:45 p.m., Valley Springs — Don Alan Atencio, 29, of the 500 block of Gold Oak Road, San Andreas, booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, possessing up to 28.5 grams of marijuana with a prior and driving without a license, after an arrest at a business on the first block of Highway 26.

    6:32 p.m., Murphys — Ronald Earl Sickmann, 45, of the 200 block of Mistletoe Court, Angels Camp, arrested at Pennsylvania Gulch Road and Peppermint Lane.

Sheriff’s reports

THURSDAY
    7:28 a.m., Standard area — A man reported the passenger side of his window broken on the 14900 block of Lupine Lane.
    9:38 a.m., East Sonora — A man reported being threatened by another man with a pipe at the stoplight at Mono Way and Tuolumne Road.
    1:04 p.m., East Sonora — A man dumped a bag of trash on the 13700 block of Mono Way after his dog ripped it open. He then apologized.
    4:03 p.m., Sonora area — An officer responded to a home on the 12800 block of Chukar Circle, only to find that the screaming that had been reported was a child with a bead in its nose. The bead had been successfully removed at the time of the officer’s arrival.
    10:06 p.m., Jamestown area — An officer stopped two men on Highway 49 at Poppy Hills  Drive for throwing a lighted substance out of the window of a moving vehicle.
    11:52 p.m., Columbia area — A man was stopped in possession of a switchblade knife on Highway 49 at Old Sonora Columbia Road.

THURSDAY
    12:20 a.m., Sonora area — Alan Lee Belanger, 50, of the 11200 block of Racetrack Road, booked on suspicion of forging or altering a car registration, drug possession with intent to sell, a misdemeanor count of driving with a suspended license and a misdemeanor count of drug possession while driving. He was arrested at Bonanza and Calaveras roads.
    3:43 p.m., Sonora — Daenon Vincent Brewer, 18, of the 20900 block of Heavenly Drive, booked on suspicion of drug possession at the 1000 block of Greenley Road.

Sonora police reports

THURSDAY
    9:13 a.m., parking — A vehicle was reported on the 100 block of South Shepherd Street. It has been parked in an eight-hour parking zone for several days.
    2:40 p.m., theft — Three teenage girls attempted to shoplift at a business on the first block of South Washington Street. The items were returned.
    4:15 p.m., attempted burglary — Someone reported an attempt to break into a maintenance shop on the 300 block of Fairview Lane.
