TUOLUMNE COUNTY Sheriff’s reports TUESDAY 9:13 a.m., Groveland — A theft was reported on the 18700 block of Highway 120. 10:13 a.m., Jamestown area — A man reported a counterfeit $100 bill he received at a yard sale on the 8800 block of Wilcox Ranch Road. He discovered the fraud when he attempted to use the bill at a local business. 11:53 a.m., Groveland area — Approximately $300 of wood was stolen from the 12800 block of Mueller Drive. 3:17 p.m., Jamestown — A woman reported an assault on the 10200 block of Preston Lane. Felony bookings, DUI arrests and Sonora Police Department reports were unavailable Wednesday due to the federal holiday. CALAVERAS COUNTY Sheriff’s reports WEDNESDAY 7:44 a.m., Copperopolis — Vandalism was reported on Copper Cove Drive near La Cobra Mina. 2:26 p.m., Valley Springs — Vandalism was reported at a home on Raindance Road. 2:30 p.m., San Andreas — Evidence “of an extinguished fire found in a public restroom” on Park Drive. 2:44 p.m., Camp Connell — A vacation cabin was burglarized on Highway 4. 10:56 p.m., San Andreas — A fight took place on the first block of Main Street. |
