TUOLUMNE COUNTY Sheriff’s reports TUESDAY 2:06 a.m., Groveland — A woman on the 19000 block of Ferretti Road said someone rang her doorbell and then threw a rock at her house. 8:39 a.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A woman reported a chain saw stolen on 20700 block of Lama Tamalin Road. 9:39 a.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A man said that gas was siphoned out of a truck on 24500 block of Highway 108. 11:26 a.m., Don Pedro area — A woman came home and found a man in her backyard claiming to be examining her miniature dachshunds on the 14700 block of Valverde Way. 1:43 p.m., Stent area — A man on the 16800 block of Jacksonville Road reported that someone broke into his house a couple of weeks ago and stole jewelry. 5:04 p.m., Sonora area — A woman on the 10900 block of Kelso Court reported repeated calls from Jamaica informing her that she won $2 million, but could receive the money only if she sent $500 to the caller. 7:04 p.m., Phoenix Lake area — A man on the 19800 block on Phoenix Lake Road said that a drunk woman hit a garbage can and a dog with her vehicle. 9:27 p.m., Sonora area — A woman reported a break-in at her home on the 21300 block of Evergreen Drive. 11:27 p.m., Crystal Falls — A woman on the 21000 block of Crystal Falls Drive reported that a mountain lion chased her husband through her backyard. Sonora police reports TUESDAY 9:32 a.m., drugs — A student was suspended from Sonora High School for suspicion of possessing marijuana. The marijuana was booked for destruction. 7:57 p.m., disorderly conduct — A caller said several trucks were “doing doughnuts” on the 800 block of Greenley Road. Felony bookings TUESDAY 11:30 a.m., Sonora area — Crystal Michelle Powell, 26, of an unknown address on Sharon Way, booked on suspicion of receiving stolen property and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after an arrest at the 22500 block of Sharon Way. 12:30 p.m., Columbia — Janet Ann Muller, of the 22300 block of Sharon Way, Sonora, booked on suspicion of drug possession after an arrest on Airport Road. 5:56 p.m., Sonora area — Joseph Eugene Foletti, 28, of the 9500 block of Poppy Hills Drive, booked on suspicion of burglary after an arrest on the 10800 block of Racetrack Road. Arrests Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs: TUESDAY 8:57 p.m., Columbia — Joseph David Tennison, 46, of an unknown address on South Airport Road, arrested on South Airport Road, north of Horseshoe Bend Road. CALAVERAS COUNTY Sheriff’s reports TUESDAY 6:58 a.m., San Andreas — A sign was damaged on the 700 block of Mountain Ranch Road. 10:02 a.m., San Andreas — Something was stolen from a mail box on the 1000 block of Gold Strike Road. 10:11 a.m., Arnold — A previous break-in to a home under construction on the 1700 block of Fern Way was reported. 11:40 a.m., Arnold — A shed was damaged during a possible attempted break-in on the 3200 block of Lakemont Drive. 3:43 p.m., Arnold — A mail box was reported damaged on the 1500 block of Blagen Road. Felony bookings TUESDAY 8:53 a.m., San Andreas — Renee Marette Crain, 21, of the 300 block of Duchess Drive, Copperopolis, booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, possessing controlled substance paraphernalia and misdemeanor probation violation, after an arrest at the Calaveras County Jail on a county warrant. 2:17 p.m., San Andreas — Ashlee Dawn Snider, 20, of the 1700 block of South Main Street, Angels Camp, booked on suspicion of conspiracy to commit a crime, transporting a controlled substance, two counts of possessing for sale a controlled substance and a misdemeanor probation violation, after an arrest at the Calaveras County Superior Court. |
