Wreck reported at 108/Stockton Road

 Two people were injured in a head-on collision on Highway 108, east of Stockton Road, this morning. Both were flown by helicopter to Modesto hospitals. Maggie Beck/Union Democrat, copyright 2009 According to a preliminary CHP report, Cooper, driving a westbound Mustang, drifted over the highway's double yellow lines and into the path of a Chevy Cavalier driven by Rocha, colliding head-on. Two helicopters were called in to take the injured to area hospitals. The accident was reported about 6:12 a.m. No other vehicles or people were involved. Both victims are in critical condition, said CHP Public Information Officer Mike Remmel. |
