Brian Edwin Earl Stuart May 14, 1929 — June 1, 2009 Former Tuolumne County resident Edwin Earl Stuart died June 1 in Livingston, Texas. He was 80. He was born in Sharon, Pa. Mr. Stuart was the caretaker of the Lent Ranch near Chinese Camp for many years. He was also in the U.S. Army and was a Los Angeles City firefighter. A celebration of his life took place June 3 at Pace Funeral Home Chapel, followed by internment at Forest Hill Cemetery, in Livingston, Texas. Brian Keith Bledsaw June 8, 1966 — Oct. 30, 2009 Brian Keith “Blood” Bledsaw, of Sonora, died Oct. 30 from injuries sustained in a fall while working on a roof near Sonora. He was 43. Mr. Bledsaw was born in Porterville and had lived in Sonora for 23 years. He was a roofer by trade and his interests included family gatherings and sports, especially golf and baseball. He is survived by his parents, Wayne and Linda Welch, of Sonora; his girlfriend of 13 years, Janine Fouts, of Sonora; siblings, Larry Bledsaw, Steve Bledsaw and Crystal Morrison-Welch, all of Sonora; Lynn Ostermen, of Elk Grove, Kim Welch and Jerry Welch, both of the Bay Area, and Lori Dobrick, of the Los Angeles area; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home, 225 Rose Ave., Sonora. Terzich and Wilson is handling arrangements. Paul Feeley June 10, 1919 — Oct. 28, 2009 Paul Feeley, of San Andreas, died Oct. 28 at Mark Twain Convalescent Hospital. He was 90. Mr. Feeley was born in Boston, Mass. He and his family moved to San Andreas in 1966 and bought the Patio Drive-in, where he was known for the doughnuts he made. In his free time, he spent lots of time fishing with friends, his family said. Mr. Feeley was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Pat. He is survived by his children, Virginia Bailey, of Portland, Ore., Kathy Dupperoy, of Los Angeles, Patti Gaffney, of Los Angeles, Paul Feeley, of Auburn, and Pamela Feeley, of San Andreas; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. At his request, no services will be held. Memorial donations may be made to San Andreas Community Covenant Church or a charity of choice. San Andreas Memorial Chapel handled arrangements. Notice REMLINGER — Former longtime Tuolumne resident Joseph Remlinger Jr., 75, died Oct. 29 at a Sacramento hospital. All Faith Cremation in Sacramento handled arrangements. |
