Sheriff’s reports

MONDAY
    12:59 a.m., Soulsbyville — A man on the 20400 block of Starr King Drive said he woke up and heard someone walking through his house and into his garage. The man saw another man in his garage in his truck, but when he called out, the suspect threw a backpack at him and ran. The man chased him to the street but the suspect got into a dark sedan with two other people in it.
    2:30 a.m., Sonora — A man arrested on suspicion of public intoxication on South Washington Street at Restano Way tested at 0.32 percent blood alcohol at the jail.
    9:45 a.m., Mi-Wuk Village — A woman on the 19900 block of L Street said someone stole her mail and a check to her husband.
    1:24 p.m., Tuolumne — A person drove by a crew of prison inmates working on Chestnut Avenue at Main Street and threw a bag of tobacco and marijuana to them.
    2:53 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman left a restaurant on the 23000 block of Joaquin Gully Road without paying her bill.
    6 p.m., Columbia — A man stole a can of beer on the 22200 block of Parrotts Ferry Road.
    9:02 p.m., Sonora area — A caller on the 19400 block of Susan Way reported theft of crystals, a gold tooth and prescription pain medicine.

MONDAY
    11:10 p.m., Tuolumne — Heather Marie McCreary, 30, of the 20100 block of Tuolumne Road North, booked on suspicion of vandalism and misdemeanor exhibiting a deadly weapon, after an arrest at her home. She allegedly slashed vehicle tires and threatened a person with a steak knife, sheriff’s logs said.

MONDAY
    8:58 a.m., theft — Two men allegedly went into a business on the 400 block of South Washington Street, distracted the employees and stole money from the business.

MONDAY
    7:36 a.m., Valley Springs — Vandalism was reported on the 100 block of Jean Street.
    10:36 p.m., Angels Camp — Livestock was stolen on the 200 block of Frogtown Road.
    1:42 p.m., Arnold — A fight was reported on the 2000 block of Blagen Road.
    5:42 p.m., Murphys — A theft was reported on the 200 block of Cottage Circle.
    8:41 p.m., Hathaway Pines — Someone reported a “noise disturbance from Halloween decorations” on Highway 4 and Horseshoe Drive.

MONDAY
    8:40 a.m., San Andreas — Amber Nicole McMillan, 25, of the 200 block of Sequoia Avenue, Valley Springs, booked on suspicion of battery against a peace officer and resisting a public officer, as well as suspicion of driving under the influence, after an arrest in the lobby of the Calaveras County Jail on a county warrant.
    8:58 a.m., San Andreas — Peter Aaron Bell, 29, of the 6500 block of Mitchell Mill Road, Wilseyville, was booked on suspicion of possessing concentrated cannabis, after an arrest prompted by his passage through the Calaveras County Superior Court’s metal detector.

TUESDAY
    4:03 a.m., West Point — Emily Aurelia Surginer, 27, of the 5100 block of June Avenue, Wilseyville, booked on suspicion of receiving known stolen property, after an arrest on Main Street and Highway 26 on an Amador County warrant.

    10:45 p.m., San Andreas — James Lewis Robinson, 20, of the 12300 block of Highway 26, Mokelumne Hill, arrested at Main Street and Lewis Avenue.

    1:55 a.m., Valley Springs — Benjamin Alexander Kerlin, 33, of Stockton, arrested on Highway 26 at Country View Drive.
    10:30 p.m., Valley Springs — Belinda Bethune Hartley, 46, of Suisun City, arrested on Highway 12 and Lime Creek Road.

MONDAY
    5:20 p.m., San Andreas — Laurence Orr Hunter, 53, of the 1400 block of Wells Fargo Road, Rail Road Flat, after an arrest in the lobby of the Calaveras County Jail.
