TUOLUMNE COUNTY Sheriff’s reports TUESDAY 9:03 a.m., Sonora Meadows — A woman on the 16500 block of Creekside Drive said two men tried to get into her home about 3:30 a.m. but her boyfriend chased them off. 12:11 p.m., Columbia — A man on the 11600 block of Columbia College Drive said someone removed the putty from a window frame to remove the glass and gain access to a building, but the glass wasn’t removed and no one entered the building. 5:34 p.m., Mono Vista area — A woman reported seeing a man walking down North Sunshine Road at Mono Vista Road North taking mail from mailboxes and putting them up his sleeve. 8:11 p.m., East Sonora — Two teenagers were reportedly asking people to buy them beer on the 13700 block of Mono Way. Arrests Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs: TUESDAY 12:13 a.m., Sonora area — Patricia Davis, 62, of the 19100 block of Black Oak Road, Sonora, arrested on Tuolumne Road at Terrace Drive. Felony bookings TUESDAY 5:56 p.m., Columbia — James Wayne Yates, 24, of the 21900 block of Sawmill Flat Road, booked on suspicion of assault, after an arrest at his home. CALAVERAS COUNTY Sheriff’s reports TUESDAY 9:12 a.m., Copperopolis — Fraud was reported on the 100 block of Copper Cove Drive. 12:44 p.m., Valley Springs — Forgery was reported on the 100 block of Highway 26. 2:33 p.m., Valley Springs — Vandalism occurred on the 8100 block of Nall Street. WEDNESDAY 3:50 a.m., San Andreas — There was a disturbance in the Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital waiting room. Felony bookings TUESDAY 2:37 p.m., San Andreas — Debra Lynn Grimes, 45, of the 600 block of Bald Mountain Road, West Point, booked on suspicion of willful cruelty to a child and misdemeanor battery, after an arrest in the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office. |
