TUOLUMNE COUNTY

Sonora police reports

WEDNESDAY
    7:10 a.m., theft — A back mounted tire was taken off a vehicle parked on Mono Way and gasoline was stolen sometime overnight.
    2:44 p.m., controlled substances — A child found a compact on Greenley Road with two suspected marijuana cigarettes inside.
    3:17 p.m., fraudulent activities — A man said someone who collects rent for him from a location on Elk Drive embezzled the money.

THURSDAY
    1:36 a.m., public peace — A caller said four or five people were outside on Ash Street yelling at each other. The home owner was advised and agreed to keep the noise down.
    3:46 a.m., public intoxication — A caller said the people on Ash Street were being loud again. A 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.

WEDNESDAY
    9:23 a.m., Cedar Ridge area — A man on Mount Elizabeth Drive reported fraudulent charges on his bank account.
    11:02 a.m., Jamestown — A man said his wife assaulted him on Fourth Avenue. He said he was down the street on his motorcycle and would return home once he saw a deputy there.
    12:09 p.m., Soulsbyville — A caller on Willow Springs Drive West reported forged stolen checks.
    4:40 p.m., Sonora area — A caller said two teenage boys were fighting in a vacant lot on Racetrack Road near Leland Drive and other people were circled around the fight.
    4:52 p.m., Phoenix Lake area — A man on Ridgewood Court said his daughter was getting inappropriate text messages from an older man.
    5:07 p.m., Sonora Meadows — A cell phone reported stolen from Creekside Drive was located and returned.
    9:03 p.m., Tuolumne area — Three men had a fire burning behind a residence. Cal Fire extinguished the fire, and the men were lectured.
    10:31 p.m., Twain Harte — Lights were on inside a cabin on Bonanza Drive which is usually unoccupied. The front door appeared to have been torn off. The owner was advised to make a burglary report.
  
THURSDAY
    8:55 a.m., Sonora area — A woman on Eagle Court reported someone used her bank card and pin number to take $2,824 out of her account.

Sheriff’s reports

WEDNESDAY
    9:24 a.m., San Andreas — A possible break-in to an office building was reported on the 900 block of Mountain Ranch Road.
    11:25 a.m., Valley Springs — A juvenile in possession of marijuana was reported on the 3500 block of Double Springs Road.
    11:59 a.m., San Andreas — A possible phone scam was reported on the 600 block of Sunset Street.
    1:13 p.m., Valley Springs — A possible break-in to a home on the 2900 block of Dale Drive was reported.
    3:01 p.m., Murphys — A break-in to a home in August was reported on the 600 block of Sheldon Lane.
    4:38 p.m., San Andreas — Candy was stolen on the 200 block of Old Oak Road.
    4:37 p.m., San Andreas — Equipment was reported stolen on the 200 block of St. Charles Street.
    5:20 p.m., Murphys — A fight broke out across from a business on the 100 block of Big Trees Road.
    6:41 p.m., Arnold — A petty theft occurred at a residence on the 1200 block of Highway 4.
    7 p.m., Murphys — Possible vandalism was reported at Murphys Park.
