Beverly Ann Cosovich July 6, 1949 — Sept. 4, 2009 Beverly Ann Cosovich died Sept. 4 at her home in Vallecito after a four-year battle with cancer. She was 60. Born in Colorado, she lived in Vallecito for 20 years. She was an inventory controller and paint specialist at Calaveras Lumber until she had to leave because of her illness. Her interests included blues music and gambling. Her family said she was lucky at playing slot machines. She is survived by her husband, Steve, of Jamestown; children, Erma, of Vacaville, and Denise, Trina and Chris, all of Calaveras County; eight grandchildren; and a brother, Ty Troxel, of Sacramento. Services have been held. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home handled arrangements. Zane Schuller Sr. May 25, 1937 — Sept. 11, 2009 Zane S. Schuller Sr. died Sept. 11 at his Sonora home. He was 72. He owned Zane’s Iron Horse Lounge in Sonora for about nine years. He served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper in the late 1950s and early ’60s. He was a member of the Sonora Elks Lodge and his hobby was HO scale model railroading. Mr. Schuller was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Pomily Schuller. He is survived by his wife of six years, Eulalia M. Schuller, of Sonora; children, Suzane Clemens, of Soulsbyville; Zane Schuller Jr. and his wife, Theresa, of Oklahoma; and Rhett Schuller, of Sonora; grandchildren, Zachery Clemens, of Sonora; Shelby and Mariah Schuller, of Jamestown; Brook Schuller, of Oklahoma; Quinton Clemens, of Soulsbyville, and Cheyenne Cover, of Tuolumne; siblings, Robert Schuller and his wife, Charlotte, of Modesto, Linda Albu and her husband, Charles, of Niles, Ohio, Roy Schuller, of Ohio, and Charlene Gosnell and her husband, James, of Ohio; an aunt, Theresa Owen, of Las Vegas; and numerous other relatives. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations in his name may be made to Hospice of the Sierra, P.O. Box 4805, Sonora, CA 95370, Terzich and Wilson handled arrangements.
