County leaders have light agenda Tuesday |
Barring a last-minute change in agenda, no items are scheduled for public discussion at Tuesday’s meeting of the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors. Attendees will be able to address the council as normal during the public comment period, but all other matters will be dealt with in the council’s single vote on noncontroversial items or behind closed doors. The council is scheduled to authorize without discussion an extension of a subdivision improvement agreement for Forest Meadows and a trainer-level course in youth anger management courses for probation department staff. The third major item on the consent agenda, which consists of noncontroversial actions passed in a single vote, would allow the county’s Health Services Agency to accept $150,000 for tobacco prevention education from the state’s Tobacco Control Program. In the closed session, the county will discuss the Trinitas golf course lawsuit, changes to county fees and ongoing negotiations with the Service Employees International Union, Local 1021. Public meeting: Calaveras County Board of Supervisors, 9 a.m. Tuesday, Supervisors’ Chambers, 891 Mountain Ranch Road, San Andreas. |
