TUOLUMNE COUNTY Sheriff’s reports SATURDAY 12:26 a.m., Cedar Ridge — A deer was reported to Fish and Game as possibly poached because it was killed after shooting hours near the 17000 block of Highgrade Lane. 12:55 a.m., Sugar Pine — A woman was hit in the face with an object, causing a deep cut, at a bar on the 24100 block of Highway 108. 10:02 a.m., Pinecrest — Several stop signs and buildings were spray painted with graffiti on Pinecrest Lake Road. 4:11 p.m., Crystal Falls — A vacation home was broken into on the 21800 block of Crystal Falls Drive West. 8:09 p.m., Sonora area — A stop sign and road sign were stolen on Duchi Court and Draper Mine Road. 8:48 p.m., Sonora area — Gas was reported stolen on the 14200 block of Tuolumne Road. 11:21 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman lying on the side of Twain Harte Drive at Tiffeni Drive was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication. SUNDAY 8:56 a.m., Pinecrest — A man who broke his leg on the Pinecrest Peak trailhead to Waterhouse Lake was taken by CHP helicopter to a Sonora hospital. 10:42 a.m., Soulsbyville — A goat was reportedly running loose on Oman Drive with a chain around its neck. 11:52 a.m., Columbia — A man said he returned home from camping and discovered someone defecated in front of his door on the 11000 block of State Street. 1:23 p.m., Crystal Falls — Vandalism and graffiti were reported at various locations on Crystal Falls Drive. 8:32 p.m., Crystal Falls area — A couple were arrested on the 22000 block of Longeway Road after kicking, biting and head locking each other. MONDAY 8:08 a.m., Crystal Falls — A woman on the 21900 block of Crystal Falls Drive said her car trailer was spray painted by vandals. 9:11 a.m., Sonora area — Multiple power tools and doors were stolen from a home being remodeled on the 20900 block of Shaws Flat Road. 10:05 a.m., Jamestown — A man on Harney Drive said someone fraudulently used his credit card information online to purchase items. 10:26 a.m., Columbia — A woman on the 23500 block of Parrotts Ferry Road said someone put a yard sale sign in her yard and then she found a large dead buck at her front door. 2:37 p.m., Twain Harte — A woman on the 22800 block of Sunnybrook Drive said someone cut down a tree on her property without permission. 2:44 p.m., Crystal Falls — A barn and old fire house were spray painted with graffiti on the 21700 block of Crystal Falls Drive. 3:14 p.m., Strawberry — A man said he was attacked and bitten by two dogs on the 28600 block of Strawberry Lane. Sonora police reports SATURDAY 1:39 p.m., theft — A man said his wallet was stolen after he dropped it on the 400 block of Greenley Road. SUNDAY 4:29 p.m., assault — A woman said she was assaulted on Elk Drive on Saturday. 9:17 p.m., theft — A man said he picked up a hitchhiker on Stockton Road who may have stolen his wallet. MONDAY 6:39 a.m., vandalism — A woman said people egged her home on Morning Star Court. 11:03 a.m., theft — A man on Snell Street said someone stole gold coins and nuggets from his home. Arrests Cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol: SATURDAY 12:27 a.m., Sonora — Francisco Javier Hernandez, 21, of the 16700 block of Chicken Ranch Road, Jamestown, arrested on Barretta Street at Lytton Street. 4:56 p.m., south county — Diane Mary Penna, 59, of the 10 block of Saratoga Road, Sonora, arrested on Highway 49 south of Highway 120. 8:26 p.m., Jamestown — Kenneth Rowan Cox, 51, of Waterford, arrested on Fifth Avenue at Highway 108. SUNDAY 1:12 a.m., Twain Harte — Antoinette Marie Pollock, 41, of the 23000 block of Strauch Drive, arrested on Strauch Drive at Joaquin Gully Road. MONDAY 6:41 p.m., Keystone area — Ryan Christopher Clipper, 32, of the 8500 block of French Flat Road, Jamestown, arrested on Highway 120 east of Keystone Ranch. Felony bookings FRIDAY 12:27 a.m., Twain Harte area — John Gomez, 44, of the 22700 block of Confidence Road, booked on suspicion of possessing narcotics, and misdemeanor driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, after an arrest on Confidence Road. 2:15 p.m., East Sonora — Robbi Allen Harper, 19, of the 300 block of Morning Star Drive, Sonora, booked on suspicion of contacting a minor with intent to commit sexual offense, after an arrest on the 14600 block of Mono Way. Harper allegedly made several attempts to contact a juvenile over the telephone and made comments of a sexual nature. The investigation into the matter is ongoing, sheriff’s officials said. SUNDAY 1:30 a.m., East Sonora — Tyler Adam Borland, 26, of the 19900 block of Trace Road, Sonora, booked on suspicion of possessing narcotics, theft over $400 by use of an ATM card, and misdemeanor criminal conspiracy and possession of drug paraphernalia, after an arrest on the 14600 block of Mono Way. 9:08 p.m., Crystal Falls area — Samantha Sandra Lynn McNamara, 22, of the 20100 block of Hani Drive, Tuolumne, booked on suspicion of assault, after an arrest on the 22000 block of Longeway Road. MONDAY 6:04 a.m., Twain Harte — John Lewis Schroyer, 52, of Redwood City, booked on suspicion of vandalism and misdemeanor public intoxication and disobeying orders from a fireman or public officer, after an arrest on the 22900 block of Meadow Drive, where he allegedly broke a window at the Cal Fire station. Schroyer first called the Sheriff’s Office at 4:18 a.m. saying he was going to “light a big fire” because there was a dead deer at his house on the 22500 block of Spruce Drive and “no one is doing anything about it.” Sheriff’s records indicate he wanted to cut up the deer and barbecue it. He was advised to call Animal Control. He was later arrested at the fire station on Meadow Drive. Fire calls SATURDAY 1:51 p.m., Soulsbyville — One-quarter of an acre of grass burned on the 20600 block of North Sunshine Road when sparks from a grinder on the bed of a pickup truck was used. Cal Fire units from Columbia, Groveland, Twain Harte, Blanchard, Mono Village and San Andreas, and Tuolumne County Fire Department units from Sonora responded to the fire. CALAVERAS COUNTY Sheriff’s reports MONDAY 6:18 a.m., Murphys — A reported burglary of a business on the 800 block of Murphys Creek Road turned out to be a “hit and run” by a vehicle that happened during the night. 7:33 a.m., Valley Springs — Someone stole less than $500 worth of gasoline on the 100 block of Vista Del Lago. 7:53 a.m., San Andreas — Angry words were exchanged on the 300 block of Lewis Avenue. 8:13 a.m., San Andreas — Calaveras High School was vandalized. 8:20 a.m., San Andreas – A school building was broken into on the 300 block of Lewis Avenue. 9 a.m., San Andreas — Issues between neighbors resulted in a disturbance on the 600 block of Lewis Avenue. 9:23 a.m., Copperopolis — A bicycle was found on the 5100 block of Bayview Drive. 9:42 a.m., Murphys — A call reported “weekenders” were playing loud music on the 5000 block of Murphys Camp Road. 10:52 a.m., Copperopolis — A suspicious person was reported on 2200 Quail Hill Road. 11:03 a.m., Dorrington — Gas was stolen on the 200 block of Boards Crossing Road. 11:50 a.m., San Andreas — A patient was causing problems in the Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital emergency room. 1:22 p.m., Arnold — A theft was reported at a home on the 100 block of Splash Dam Loop. 2:58 p.m., Wallace — A suspicious parked vehicle was reported on the on Highway 12 near the county line. 4:30 p.m., Valley Springs — An ongoing disagreement between neighbors led to a disturbance on the 8000 block of Cabernet Street. 4:48 p.m., San Andreas — A bicycle was found on the 400 block of West St. Charles Street. 4:36 p.m., San Andreas — Someone littered at Pope Street and Mountain Ranch Road. 7:59 p.m., Murphys — A suspicious parked vehicle was reported on Highway 4 near the Utica Grade. 8:51 p.m., Burson — Insults were traded on the 11700 block of Arapaho Way. 9:29 p.m., San Andreas — A suspicious group of people was seen nearly Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital. 11:07 p.m., San Andreas — A fight broke out at a gas station on Highway 49. TUESDAY 12:47 a.m., San Andreas — Items worth more than $500 were stolen on the 100 block of West St. Charles Street.
